COVID-19 Test Result SMS Delivery

State health departments require/use Healthy Together to contact residents to deliver real-time COVID-19 test results to their mobile devices as part of emergency pandemic mitigation efforts to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

By providing your telephone number to Healthy Together, or to a testing facility, health care provider, government agency or other entity that utilizes Healthy Together to deliver COVID-19 test results and related information, you have opted into receiving recurring text messages from Healthy Together. Individuals may also opt in by texting JOIN to 78549 or 54929.

How it Works

  1. Provide your mobile phone number at a testing facility in a state that partners with Healthy Together
  2. Get notified via SMS alert as soon as your results are ready
  3. Securely unlock test results and view guidelines from your Health Department within the Healthy Together mobile app

If you recently received the SMS message seen above, then your COVID-19 test results are now available through the Healthy Together mobile app. Your state health department utilizes Healthy Together’s notification system to deliver real-time COVID-19 test results to residents via SMS alert.  If you received this kind of message, you are already opted in to receive text messages, but must still download the Healthy Together application to access your COVID-19 test results. If you are no longer interested in receiving text messages regarding your COVID-19 test results or the Healthy Together application, you can opt out at any time by texting STOP to 54929 or 78549.
